Privacy Policy

Golden Master Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. It is Golden Master’s policy to respect your privacy and comply with any applicable law and regulation regarding any personal information we may collect about you, including across our website, https://goldenmaster.net, and other sites we own and operate.

This policy is effective as of 15 March 2023 and was last updated on 9 October 2026.

Information We Collect

We collect information that you choose to give us when using our services or taking part in promotions. We also collect information that your devices send automatically when you access our products and services.

Log Data

When you visit our website, our servers may automatically log the standard data provided by your web browser. It may include your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, your browser type and version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on each page, other details about your visit, and technical details that occur in conjunction with any errors you may encounter.

This information may not identify you on its own. However, combining it with other data may make it possible to identify you.

Collection and Use of Information

We may collect personal information from you when you do any of the following on our website:

Use a mobile device or web browser to access our content
Contact us via email, social media, or on any similar technologies
When you mention us on social media

We may collect, hold, use, and disclose information for the following purposes, and personal information will not be further processed in a manner that is incompatible with these purposes:

Responding to inquiries, preparing estimates, scheduling and providing services, operating and securing our website, measuring advertising, and meeting applicable legal obligations.

Please be aware that we may combine information we collect about you with general information or research data we receive from other trusted sources.

Website Forms and Estimate Requests

When you request an estimate, use our roof quote tool, or contact us through this website, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, property address, project details, and preferred appointment date and time. We use this information to respond to your request, discuss your project, prepare estimates, and arrange services. Please do not submit payment card details, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information through our general contact forms.

Cookies, Analytics and Google Advertising

This website uses Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google advertising tags to understand website use and measure advertising effectiveness. These services may process information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, interactions, referral information, advertising click identifiers, and cookie or similar identifiers. Depending on your settings and the services in use, Google may also use this information for advertising personalization.

Learn more about how Google uses information from partner websites and Google cookies. You can manage Google advertising preferences through My Ad Center. You can also control cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect website features and does not necessarily stop all data processing.

Service Providers and Embedded Content

Information submitted through this website is processed using providers that support website hosting, communications, form delivery, security, analytics, and advertising. Embedded maps and third-party content may receive technical information when they load and are governed by their providers’ privacy policies. We use the information submitted with a service inquiry to handle that inquiry and related service communications.

Golden Master Workspace App and Customer Portal

This policy also applies to Golden Master Workspace, our iOS app, and the web workspace and customer portal at estimates.goldenmaster.net. Golden Master operates these services to manage customer projects, estimates, appointments, jobs, invoices and payments. The following details supplement the website provisions above.

Information handled by Workspace

  • Accounts and contact information: sign-in account identifiers, staff access roles, names, email addresses, phone numbers and customer property or service addresses. Customers may provide information directly, or authorized Golden Master staff may enter it to manage a requested service.
  • Project content: estimates and quotes, service selections, job descriptions, schedules, checklists, notes, uploaded photos and documents, customer change requests, appointment responses and signatures provided when accepting a quote.
  • Invoices and payment records: invoice details, amounts, balances, payment dates, methods, transaction references, payment status and refund records.
  • Service activity: records of actions such as issuing or viewing a quote, accepting a quote, responding to an appointment and receiving a payment. Hosting and authentication services may also process technical logs needed to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the service.

We use this information to authenticate authorized users, prepare and deliver quotes, arrange and perform work, communicate with customers, record approvals, collect and reconcile payments, maintain business records, prevent misuse and resolve support requests. Records may be linked to the relevant customer, project or staff account.

Payments through Stripe

Online invoice payments use Stripe-hosted checkout. We send Stripe the invoice reference and amount, internal reconciliation identifiers and the customer email address when available. Card details entered at checkout are handled by Stripe; Golden Master Workspace does not store full card numbers or card security codes in its application database. We receive payment status and transaction references to update the invoice and payment history. Stripe also processes information for payment security and fraud prevention under its privacy policy.

Sharing and service providers

Authorized Golden Master personnel can access records as needed for their work. Providers supporting hosting, data and file storage, authentication, payments and communications process the information needed to provide those services. Workspace uses ChatGPT sign-in for staff authentication; the authentication provider handles the sign-in process. Email and text sharing passes the selected message, recipient and document link to the chosen email or messaging service. Workspace does not read your email inbox or text message history.

Customer quote, invoice and appointment links allow the recipient to access the associated information. Anyone you forward a private link to may be able to open it, so share it only with intended recipients. When you open directions, the selected service address is passed to your chosen maps provider. These providers have their own privacy policies. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect rights and investigate misuse.

Device storage, permissions and advertising

Workspace uses browser or device storage for sign-in sessions, preferences and recovery of unfinished work. Quote autosave sends saved quote data to the service; temporary draft recovery copies may also remain on the device. The iOS app’s local field notes and locally attached note photos remain on the device unless you export or share them. Photos or documents you upload to a customer or job record are stored with that record. You choose which files to attach and can manage available camera, photo and notification permissions in your device settings.

The website advertising and analytics section above describes our marketing website. Golden Master Workspace does not use customer project records to serve targeted advertisements or sell those records. The Workspace app does not include advertising tracking SDKs. Optional supported browser notifications use a subscription endpoint to deliver service updates; you can disable these in your browser settings.

Retention and your choices

We retain account and project information while needed to provide services and maintain business records. Some contracts, invoices, payment and related records may need to be retained for accounting, tax, dispute-resolution or other legal obligations after a project ends or access is removed. Information no longer needed is deleted or de-identified, subject to applicable retention obligations and backup lifecycles. Removing a local app or clearing browser storage does not by itself delete server records.

To request access, correction, deletion of Workspace information or account access removal, or to withdraw optional communication consent, email info@goldenmaster.net or call 201-456-7857. Identify the account or project concerned, but do not send card numbers or passwords. We may verify your identity and authority over the records. If information must be retained, we will explain the applicable limitation. Removing Workspace access does not delete an account held with an independent sign-in provider.

Privacy Requests

For questions about this policy, to request access to or correction or deletion of your information, or to opt out of marketing communications, email info@goldenmaster.net or call 201-456-7857. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law and may need to verify your identity.

Security of Your Personal Information

When we collect and process personal information, and while we retain this information, we will protect it within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.

Although we will do our best to protect the personal information you provide to us, we advise that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and no one can guarantee absolute data security. We will comply with laws applicable to us in respect of any data breach.

You are responsible for selecting any password and its overall security strength, ensuring the security of your own information within the bounds of our services.

How Long We Keep Your Personal Information

We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it. How long we need it depends on its purpose, as explained in this privacy policy. If your personal information is no longer required, we will delete it or make it anonymous by removing all details that identify you.

However, if necessary, we may retain your personal information for our compliance with a legal, accounting, or reporting obligation or for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific, or historical research purposes or statistical purposes.

Children’s Privacy

We do not aim any of our products or services directly at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about children under 13.

International Transfers of Personal Information

The personal information we collect is stored and/or processed where we or our partners, affiliates, and third-party providers maintain facilities. Please be aware that the locations to which we store, process, or transfer your personal information may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the information. If we transfer your personal information to third parties in other countries: (i) we will perform those transfers in accordance with the requirements of applicable law; and (ii) we will protect the transferred personal information in accordance with this privacy policy.

Your Rights and Controlling Your Personal Information

You always retain the right to withhold personal information from us, with the understanding that your experience of our website may be affected. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights over your personal information. If you do provide us with personal information you understand that we will collect, hold, use and disclose it in accordance with this privacy policy. You retain the right to request details of any personal information we hold about you.

If we receive personal information about you from a third party, we will protect it as set out in this privacy policy. If you are a third party providing personal information about somebody else, you represent and warrant that you have such person’s consent to provide the personal information to us.

If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time. We will provide you with the ability to unsubscribe from our email-database or opt out of communications. Please be aware we may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity.

If you believe that any information we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading, please contact us using the details provided in this privacy policy. We will take reasonable steps to correct any information found to be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or out of date.

If you believe that we have breached a relevant data protection law and wish to make a complaint, please contact us using the details below and provide us with full details of the alleged breach. We will promptly investigate your complaint and respond to you, in writing, setting out the outcome of our investigation and the steps we will take to deal with your complaint. You also have the right to contact a regulatory body or data protection authority in relation to your complaint.

Limits of Our Policy

Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and policies of those sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy practices.
